Job summary

Premier Education is seeking qualified Early Years Practitioners to support three school-based preschools across Wigan and Leigh. Roles involve flexible daily and short-term supply with typical hours 8:30am to 3:30pm, supporting learning, play, and safeguarding.

You will collaborate with friendly preschool teams to provide a safe, stimulating environment where children can learn and thrive, with opportunities to gain local school experience.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential) or QTS/EYTS.
• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• A friendly, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliability and the ability to settle quickly into new environments.
• An understanding of the EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children with their learning, development and daily routines.
• Delivering engaging, age-appropriate play-based activities.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive relationships.

Premier Education is looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioners to support three welcoming school-based preschools across the Wigan and Leigh areas.

We have a variety of daily supply and short-term cover opportunities, perfect for practitioners who enjoy working with young children but would prefer flexibility without committing to a permanent role.

Whether you're looking for a few days each week, occasional cover or regular short-term bookings, we'd love to hear from you!

The Role
