Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for our nursery in Wootton, Northampton (NN4). You will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each key child, fostering development and a love of learning. This is a maternity cover role in a Good Ofsted setting with good transport links and on-site parking.

The role requires a full 40-hour week, a HEART culture, and a commitment to safeguarding and high-quality early years learning for every child.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the EYFS
• Strong safeguarding and child protection knowledge

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each key child.
• Create a safe environment that allows children to express themselves and fosters a love of learning.
• Develop trust and strong partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.
