A local council in the UK is seeking a passionate Early Years Practitioner to join a vibrant nursery community in Reading. The role requires NVQ Level 3 in childcare and education, with responsibilities including implementing the EYFS curriculum and supporting children with special educational needs. Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a positive impact on early childhood development? We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Practitioner (preferably with SEND experience) to be a vital part of our vibrant nursery school community based at Amersham Road in Reading. Permanent – term‑time only, 37 hours per week, with key person responsibilities. Compressed hours over 4 days of the week working 7:45am – 6pm.
Candidates should possess a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 or its equivalent in childcare and education, along with a demonstrated ability in delivering high‑quality childcare and education. We are looking for a warm, caring, organised, and dynamic individual, possessing excellent knowledge of the EYFS and demonstrating self‑motivation. The role involves creating a secure and engaging environment where children are at the forefront of all you do.
