Job summary

Bright Horizons Little Stars Nursery in Didcot is seeking a part-time Early Years Practitioner to plan, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each key child. You will help foster a lifelong love of learning in a safe environment with strong partnerships with families.

The role supports Forest School activities, a 63-place setting rated Good by Ofsted, with on-site parking and good transport links. Competitive staff benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Job description

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

• Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
