Job summary

Bright Horizons Crouch End Fields Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Practitioner. You will plan, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child, supporting development toward key milestones in a safe, nurturing setting.

The role is Mon-Fri, with children aged 0–5, and emphasis on inclusive, playful learning. You will work closely with families and colleagues, drawing on strong EYFS knowledge, safeguarding principles, and a passion for creating fun,

Nursery – Bright Horizons Crouch End Fields Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – Starting from £31,158.40 per annum (Full-time equivalent - Pro-rata) (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Practitioner to join our Crouch End Fields Day Nursery. The Nursery is situated on the grounds of Hornsey Cricket Club, close to Crouch End station and Highgate tube. This role is working Mon-Fri, 7:15am-10:00am.

The 88 place nursery offers a full refurbishment, two gardens and an off road car park. They hold exhibitions, concerts and shows throughout the year, alongside having Ballet, Spanish, Street Dance and Zumba lessons weekly!!

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What we’re looking for

• Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
