Job summary

Bright Horizons Carshalton Day Nursery and Preschool in Carshalton, London is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to plan, deliver and reflect on engaging activities that support each child’s development toward key milestones in a safe, stimulating environment.

You will work within a team to uphold our HEART values and ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met, building strong partnerships with families and staff. The role offers a supportive path with competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each key child to support development toward milestones.
• Create a safe environment that allows children to express themselves, engage their minds and foster a love of learning.
