Job summary

Pumpkin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Nursery Nurse, Early Years Practitioner to join a vibrant early childhood education team. You will support the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing, safe environment.

You will have the option to work either all year round or Term Time Only, with 12 weeks paid holidays. Responsibilities include delivering engaging activities, supervising children, fostering positive relationships, and communicating with parents about daily progress.

Qualifications

• Childcare qualifications or certifications preferred (e.g., CACHE, NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare).
• BA in Early Years Education from UK or overseas university; or QTS, Montessori Teaching Qualification, EYPS.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of age-appropriate activities promoting development.
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure safety.
• Foster positive relationships, encouraging independence, curiosity and confidence.
• Maintain a clean, organized, stimulating environment in line with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with parents about child progress and daily experiences.
• Assist management with Early Years education best practices and curriculum planning.
