Job summary

A local educational authority is seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner / Teaching Assistant to join its team. You will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences for young children and play a key role in their development. Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 Childcare qualification and a commitment to safeguarding. This is a term-time only role with a competitive hourly rate. Responsibilities

  • Act as a key worker for 2-year-olds and rising 3-year-olds.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences.
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
  • Assist with daily routines including mealtimes and transitions.
  • Contribute to planning meetings and improvements.
