Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for Kirkliston Nursery School. You will work with our team to support the educational and wellbeing needs of young learners in a nurturing environment.

We welcome applicants with experience in one-to-one pupil support and differentiating learning activities. PVG checks are required; salary is £30,188 - £34,452 pro rata for part time and sessional, with 36 hours per week over 39 weeks.

Qualifications

• Experience providing one-to-one pupil support and assisting in the delivery of differentiated learning activities.
• Regulated work with children; PVG Scheme check required.
• Commitment to inclusive, diverse workforce and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively as a member of the school team to meet the educational and wellbeing needs of pupils.
• Support pupils with Additional Support Needs and barriers to learning.
• Provide one-to-one pupil support and assist differentiated learning activities.
