Job summary

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for Craigmillar Early Years Centre. The role focuses on delivering high-quality education and care for children within the Council and Education Department policies, while ensuring safe practices and PVG compliance.

You will work as part of a team to create a nurturing environment that balances educational activities with care, addressing each child’s needs and supporting families to help every child reach their potential.

Qualifications

• The Early Years Practitioner will provide a service compatible with good practice in education and care of children and young people.
• They will work as an effective member of a Multidisciplinary or other Team promoting a stimulating environment balancing education and care.
• Meeting children's individual needs and those of their families, enabling everyone to achieve their potential.
