Job summary

Acorn Early Years Emberton is seeking a caring and qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team at Emberton Nursery. You will support children's learning, development and wellbeing within a nurturing, child-centred environment.

We offer flexible working options (three full days, or split mornings/afternoons) to suit the right candidate, a 500 recruitment bonus after probation, and generous benefits including annual leave and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must have full and relevant Early Years qualification, minimum Level 2.
• Ability to work across flexible hours including three full days or split morning/afternoon sessions.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare as per EYFS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support a holistic approach to the EYFS curriculum.
• Deliver high-quality interactions and support children's development and wellbeing.
• Promote positive behaviour in line with Acorn policies.
• Create engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with families.
• Complete observations and assessments to inform planning.
