Job summary

Cricklade Manor Nursery in Swindon, Wiltshire is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to help plan and deliver a stimulating curriculum for children aged 0-5. You will work across the nursery, including the baby room, promoting a warm, caring environment and outdoor learning opportunities.

Hours are full-time or part-time, with permanent year-round contracts. The role supports safeguarding, parent communications, and team planning within a welcoming setting near Swindon and Cirencester.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification or willingness to complete this funded qualification.
• Interest in caring for, or working with children aged 0-5.
• A confident communicator with excellent listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities focusing on each child’s interests.
• Maintain development, progress & observation records with support of Room Leader.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with parents/guardians to integrate children into the nursery.
• Maintain safeguarding and welfare standards for every child.
• Contribute to planning, meetings, training and events as part of Cricklade Manor Team.
