A nurturing early years provider in Wokingham is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join their friendly team. In this role, you will create a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5, plan engaging activities, and maintain high standards of care. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude. We are a welcoming and nurturing early years setting dedicated to delivering exceptional care and education for young children. We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioner to become part of our friendly, supportive team.
In this role, you will help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children aged 0–5. You will contribute to their learning and development through play, assist in planning engaging activities, and work closely with parents and colleagues to ensure every child flourishes.
Assist in planning, delivering, and evaluating fun and educational early years activities.
Provide high-quality care and ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
Observe, assess, and document children's development in line with EYFS requirements.
Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment.
Follow all nursery policies, safeguarding procedures, and health & safety guidelines.
Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent).
A genuine enthusiasm for supporting young children's learning and development.
Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
Ability to work effectively within a team.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
