Job summary

Bright Horizons Teddies Nursery in Nether Edge, Sheffield is seeking an Early Years Practitioner for 32 hours over 4 days or 40 hours over 5 days. You will plan and deliver engaging activities, guided by EYFS, to support every child’s development in a safe, inclusive setting.

You should hold a Level 3+ Early Years qualification and have a passion for nurturing learning. DBS check required; inclusive employer with benefits and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to support development toward milestones.
• Create a safe environment that lets children express themselves and foster a love of learning.
