Role Overview

We are working with a number of local nursery chains who require additional Early Years Practitioners on a day-to‑day, short-term, or long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring, energetic, and creative individual to join our network of outstanding nursery teams. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care and education for children, following the EYFS curriculum and all safeguarding procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality childcare and early years education to children aged 0-5 years
  • Implement engaging and creative teaching methods to stimulate learning and development
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children
  • Actively promote positive child development and behaviour management strategiesBuild meaningful relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ensure the nursery meets all safeguarding standards and health and safety regulations
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have
  • A minimum Level 2 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, Teaching and Learning, or a related field
  • A minimum of GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) – evidence of these will be required
  • Paediatric First Aid (Desirable but not essential)
  • Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting, or current enrolment in a relevant childcare course
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development principles
  • A genuine passion for working with children and delivering exceptional care and education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, proactive attitude towards teamwork and continuous improvement
