A welcoming and well-established nursery in Leyton is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Practitioner to join their dedicated team. We are looking for a Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality care and education, fostering positive relationships with children and their families, and contributing to a nurturing and stimulating setting.
About the Role:
Position: Early Years Practitioner (Level 3 Qualified)
Hours:
Option 1: 8:30am - 4:45pm (Mon - Thurs) & 8:45am - 4:45pm (Fri)
Option 2: 9:30am - 5:45pm (Mon - Thurs) & 9:45am - 5:45pm (Fri)
Pay: £13.69 - £15.87 per hour (depending on experience)
Location: Leyton, Waltham Forest
Responsibilities of the Early Years Practitioner:
Create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children aged 0-5.
Plan and deliver stimulating learning activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Monitor and record children's development and progress effectively.
Foster positive relationships with parents, carers, and team members.
Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed.
Requirements for the Early Years Practitioner:
Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework.
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
A warm, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
