Job description

We are looking for a passionate and caring individual to join the dedicated team of staff as an Early Years Practitioner at this diverse nursery in Camden.

This is a permanent full‑time Early Years Practitioner position to work 40 hours a week (Monday‑Friday) at this NW London nursery that really appreciates and values every member of staff. Working as an Early Years Practitioner is very rewarding – you are making a difference to children’s lives and early development, and you will see how they grow while in your care and preparing them for the next stage of their education. Responsibilities
  • Assist children with their early reading and literacy and early maths skills development
  • Create an environment that is language rich and supportive
  • Have good knowledge of early childhood development and EYFS
  • Lead and encourage interactive play and learning sessions, including child‑led learning
  • Support personal, social and emotional development
  • Help children build on their social skills, confidence and form positive relationships from a young age
  • Carry out observations and track key children’s progress and development

A minimum of a Level 2 Early Years or Childcare qualification is essential and previous experience in a nursery setting is preferred for this Early Years Practitioner position.
