Job summary

Refresh Recruitment Ltd in Burgess Hill is seeking a Nursery Practitioner (Level 2 or Level 3) to join our outstanding nursery team. The role is 40 hours per week, worked over 4 or 5 days, Monday to Friday, with a focus on delivering engaging early years activities within the EYFS framework.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years, have nursery experience, and demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork and organizational skills.

• Strong understanding of child development and EYFS.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all children.

• Support the day-to-day operation of the nursery and maintain high standards of care.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting.
• A sound understanding of child development and early years best practice.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong teamwork and organisational skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's growth and development.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework.
