Qualifications

Our Lady of the Magnificat MAC are seeking to appoint an experienced and inspirational Early Years Phase Leader to lead our Nursery and Reception Provision. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to shape the vision and drive excellence across the Early Years Foundation Stage. This role will be based at St. Peter’s Catholic First School Bromsgrove.This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week plus INSET days.

The successful candidate will:

  • have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) andsignificant experiencein Early Years education
  • have a proventrack recordofimpactful leadershipwithin an EYFS setting
  • have a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
  • have excellent communication,organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • be a visionary leader with a passion for inspiring young learners and empowering staff.

As Early Years Phase Leader, you will:

  • provide strategic leadershipfor the Early Years team, ensuringhigh standardsof teaching, learning, and assessment
  • model outstanding practiceand mentor colleagues to develop their skills and confidence
  • lead curriculum planning and innovation, ensuring a rich, engaging, and inclusive learning experience for all children
  • monitor and evaluate pupilprogress,using data to inform improvement strategies
  • work collaboratively with senior leaders, parents, and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for every child
  • champion earlyyearspedagogyand contribute to whole-school development priorities.
