S4YC are looking for a new Nursery Manager at its successful Wharton Nursery in Winsford. The setting has a strong management and staff team in place and has been recently graded as Ofsted "Good". The setting operates Monday-Friday 8 am‑6 pm all year round. The role is for 40 hours a week, all year round.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children.
  • Develop and implement early childhood education programs that promote learning and development.
  • Manage staff, providing leadership and support to ensure high‑quality childcare services.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and nursery activities.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a positive atmosphere for children and staff.
Qualifications
  • Previous nursery management experience
  • Minimum Level 3 childcare qualification
  • Experience in Management
  • Sound safeguarding knowledge
  • Good track record
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage, A‑Level or equivalent (required)
  • Nursery experience: 3 years (required)
