Job summary

Stanwick Nursery in Northamptonshire is seeking a Nursery Assistant to support a holistic early years curriculum. This full-time role (40 hours) runs 7:15–6:15 across 4 days a week, with a focus on wellbeing, development and learning in a nurturing, child-centred environment.

No formal qualifications are required as training and development are supported. DBS check and references are required, with a commitment to safeguarding and teamwork across the setting.

Qualifications

• No formal qualification required; training and development provided.
• Right to work in the UK required.
• Enhanced DBS check required prior to commencing employment.
• Two satisfactory references required.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s care, wellbeing and individual needs.
• Deliver high-quality interactions based on development stages.
• Promote positive behaviour in line with policies.
• Support learning indoors and outdoors and planning in the moment.
• Maintain records and progress reviews where appropriate.
• Safeguard all children at all times.
