Ultimate Activity Camps is seeking enthusiastic staff to oversee the Early Years programme on camp, ensuring welfare and safety while delivering engaging activities for 4- to 5-year-olds. The role involves working with the Camp Manager to meet OFSTED requirements and acting as a caring contact for parents.

Educated to Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education with significant experience with young children. A flexible team player who thrives in a dynamic camp environment is ideal.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education.
• Significant experience with 4- and 5-year-olds.
• Experience delivering activities to children.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Flexible team player able to adapt to camp dynamics.
• Desire to pursue a career in childcare/coaching.

Responsabilités

• Oversee delivery of the Early Years programme on camp.
• Ensure welfare and safety of the children.
• Deliver structured activities (sports, arts, play) to Early Years children.
• Work with Camp Manager to meet OFSTED requirements.
• Provide pastoral support to 4–5 year olds and liaise with parents.

Description du poste

• Oversee the delivery of the Early Years programme on camp
• Ensure the welfare and safety of the children
• Deliver outstanding, structured activities (sports, arts, play) to the Early Years children, our Ultimate Activity Juniors.
• Working alongside your Camp Manager, ensure OFSTED requirements are met
• Take on a pastoral role as a key contact for the 4 and 5 year olds on camp, providing high quality care and liaising with parents. Educated to a minimum of Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education, with significant experience working with 4- and 5-year-olds.
• Experience of working with children and delivering activities
• Passionate about developing children through play and activity.
• Good organisation and communication skills.
• A flexible team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.
• Someone looking for a rewarding holiday job, whilst furthering their career in the childcare and coaching industry.

Desirable Requirements

• Management/supervisory experience
• Hold a Paediatric First Aid (12 or 6 hour) or First Aid at Work qualification
