Lullabies Day Nursery in Cranford, Borough of Hounslow, invites applications for a Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship – Room Leader. This on-site role across a 40-hour week focuses on delivering high-quality EYFS education in a warm, development-focused setting.

You will be supported through the apprenticeship, required to lead teaching and learning, build strong parent partnerships, and ensure safeguarding and inclusive practice for children aged 0-5.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Childcare qualification is essential.
• Experience as a practitioner within EYFS settings is desirable.
• Ability to plan and lead learning activities under EYFS.

Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliableand hardworking individual to complete their Level 5Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship at Lullabies Day Nursery, Cranford, Borough of Hounslow.

We are a Development Matters-based nursery. We care for children from 3 months to 5 years old and provide a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready to join school.

Who We Are

Lullabies Day Nursery got its start in Hounslow in 2020 by Mariam Shamshudin. We decided to do things a bit differently at Lullabies by creating a space which fosters early learning in a fun and safe environment where children from 3 months old to 5 years old can explore the world around them.

We believe our innovative approach gives children a bright and positive start in life as we encourage both exploration and discovery as well as emotional intelligence and building friendships.

The setting has 3 rooms ( possibly 4) baby toddler and pre-school.

Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Have a full and relevant level 3 qualification in Childcare.
• Be an inspiring practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development.
• Be proficient in leading the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning.
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Display a caring and nurturing attitude towards the children in your care

Role responsibilities include:

• Act as designated key person for an allocated number of children.
• To observe, plan and assess children’s learning and development within the EYFS framework.
• Develop positive partnership with parents.

  • Promote the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of children aged 0-5
  • Plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
  • Observe, assess, and record children's progress to inform planning and support individual needs
• Safeguarding & Child Welfare
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for all children
  • Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures in accordance with statutory guidance
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to GDPR and data protection policies
• Inclusion & Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Support children with additional needs, ensuring inclusive access to learning opportunities
  • Work collaboratively with external agencies and professionals to implement tailored support strategies
  • Promote equality, diversity, and inclusive practices throughout the setting

Requirements;

• A Level 3Childcare qualificationis essential

Hours;

• The settingis open from 7:30am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday
• The successful candidate will be required to work 40hours per week
