Job description

We are recruiting for an Early Years Forest School Leader. This role requires you to work across three settings in Altrincham, Sale and Knutsford.

You will ideally work 40 hours per week, however there is an opportunity for 2 people to split the hours approx 20 each, this would depend on the needs of the nursery. The settings are large, homely settings open 07.30 - 18.00 Monday to Friday and hours will be within these times.

Responsibilities of Early Years Forest School Leader in Cheshire and Trafford

• Planning of activities
• Supporting and managing staff members
• Planning and implementing appropriate outdoor activities
• Record and track children's development
• To communicate effectively with staff and parents
• Knowledge, understanding and practical experience of Forest Schools provision for children.
• Knowledge and understanding and practical experience of sustainable woodland management and education within the outdoor environment

Qualifications and Experience required for Forest School in Cheshire and Trafford

• Minimum NVQ level 3 in Childcare & Education
• At least 2 years post qualifying experience.
