Job summary

Kido Reading & Preschool is seeking an Early Years Educator to join our Nursery team. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a salary between £27,500 and £30,000 per year.

Based at Kido Reading, 60 Bath Rd, Reading RG30 2AY, you will create a nurturing environment, be a consistent key person for your children, observe and plan learning, and use varied teaching approaches.

Qualifications

• Essential: Level 2 childcare qualification and experience in Early Years management.
• Maths and English including functional skills are required if a Level 3 qualification was obtained after 2014.

What we’re looking for

Kido are looking for a Early Years Educator to join the team at Kido Reading, 60 Bath Rd, Reading RG30 2AY

For the Early Years Educator role, it is essential that you hold a relevant childcare qualification, Level 2 minimum and have experience working within management in Early Years. Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English including functional skills are also a must if you obtained a Level 3 qualification after 2014.

Support SEND needs - Work with families and professionals to provide tailored support for children with additional needs.

Safeguard children effectively - Follow safeguarding procedures and report concerns promptly to the DSL.

Carry out safety checks - Contribute to daily health and safety routines and risk assessments.
