Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery Group in Crawley is seeking a Nursery Nurse to care for children from 3 months to pre-school age. The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent and knowledge of EYFS, with a focus on safe, engaging activities. The position offers full-time and part-time hours and opportunities within our established nursery group.

Salary is up to £29,675 per annum. We value enthusiasm, teamwork and safeguarding, and provide a supportive environment with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Must hold NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the EYFS Framework when planning activities.
• Able to plan, observe and keep records for nursery-aged children.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
• Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care for children aged 0-5.
• Follow nursery policies and procedures for day-to-day running.
• Use knowledge and imagination to create activities.
• Build relationships with children and communicate with parents.
