Job summary

Nuffield Health Brentwood is seeking an Early Years Educator to join our Nuffy Bear Day Nursery, based at our gym. This permanent, full-time role supports children from 3 months to 5 years, delivering high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.

NVQ Level 3 in childcare studies and a DBS check are required; paediatric first aid qualifications are preferred. We offer a competitive salary up to £28,387 per year, 40 hours per week, and a benefits package including health and wellbeing

Qualifications

• Qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 in childcare studies or equivalent.
• Experience in a Nursery setting is required.
• Paediatric first aid qualifications are preferred.
• An enhanced DBS is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care and education while promoting health and wellbeing.
• Help children achieve the best possible start in life.
• Support the nursery educators in implementing the EYFS curriculum.
• Ensure learning is linked to the child’s development.
• Plan for age appropriate activities.
• Communicate with Parents/Carers and other external professionals.
