Overview of the role

We are looking for an Early Years Educator Apprentice (Level 3 Early Years Educator Qualification with LMP our Apprenticeship Provider) to join our happy friendly community where children enjoy all aspects of school life. The available opening is for a full apprenticeship and combines the opportunity of paid work with a formal training programme.

We are a highly motivated and committed team eager to find personnel who want to achieve the highest standards in terms of learning opportunities and progress in all pupils. This is a varied role the successful candidate must be flexible show initiative and be able to adapt to the needs of individual and groups of pupils including those with SEND needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the learning and development of children in the Early Years setting following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity creativity and independence.
  • Contribute to creating a safe caring and stimulating environment where all children feel valued and included.
  • Work closely with teachers and early years staff to support both individual children and small groups including those with SEND.
  • Help with the observation assessment and recording of childrens progress contributing to their individual learning journeys.
  • Promote positive behaviour and model high expectations of conduct and respect.
  • Ensure safeguarding health and safety procedures are consistently followed.
  • Assist with daily routines such as snack times lunchtimes and personal care when required.
  • Build positive relationships with parents carers and colleagues to support childrens well-being and development.
  • Actively participate in training mentoring and reflective practice to support your professional growth and completion of the apprenticeship programme.
Apprenticeship Summary

As an apprentice you will be in a role where you will learn valuable experiences through on-the-job training. You will be provided with hands on experiences needed to gain the qualification. A mentor will be assigned and you will work alongside an experienced team of colleagues who will supervise and guide you throughout your apprenticeship.

  • You will work towards your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification across a total duration of 18 months!
  • Training provider : LMP Group : online / remote learning no classroom or college day release
  • An allocated tutor will support you throughout the apprenticeship!

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Good organisational skills
  • The dedication and drive to improve the education of all pupils.
  • A passion for teaching and learning and will nurture and inspire our pupils in a kind and caring manner
  • Have some knowledge or experience of SEND pupil needs
  • Resilience and flexibility of adapting to a variety of situations in a timely manner
  • A good ability of using relevant technology / equipment
  • Ability to work as a team effectively
  • Dedicated to undertake relevant training as necessary to complete qualifications and statutory procedures
