Job summary

Realise Training is looking for an Early Years Apprentice in Alcester. You will join a supportive team, learning on the job and dedicating 20% of your week to off-the-job training while gaining hands-on experience in a vibrant, nurturing setting.

The role focuses on EYFS-based activities, building strong relationships with children and families, and maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene. The apprenticeship lasts 14 months with a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.

Qualifications

  • GCSE level education and experience working with children is preferred for a level 3 role.

Working Week

40 hours per week Monday to Friday - shifts to be agreed at offer stage

Qualifications Required

GCSE level education and experience working with children is preferred for a level 3 role.

  • A commitment to completing your apprenticeship tasks and training with enthusiasm.
Skills Required
  • Pretending to eat playdough creations realistically is required, and that of drinking numerous cups of pretend tea
  • You must have the ability to read a ten-page fairy-tale, upside down, with at least 4 interruptions per page
  • Having a warm smiling face that makes every child feel special
  • You must be prepared to have lots of fun in the workplace. Laughter is something you can expect to be a large part of your working day
  • Finally, you must be prepared to feel loved, special and important to many young children and their families; there is simply no other job quite like this one
Training to be Provided

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
  • Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
  • Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
