Overview

Grosvenor Nursery School & Day Care are seeking to appoint an Early Years Educator (Education – Day Care All Year Round), required from as soon as possible to cover maternity leave until January 2027.

Salary Grade B SCP 3 £15,078.64

22.5 hours a week, all year around. 5 days a week 1pm – 5.30pm. The successful candidate will be based in our 2 Year Old Toddler Room.

Our Day Care Centre has all-year-round provision for babies and toddlers, as well as offering Wraparound and Holiday Care for our Nursery School children. We are a Local Authority Maintained Nursery School, providing funded places for working parents as well as funded places for children 9 months – 4 year-olds, and have a High Needs Base provision for children with complex needs.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be expected to work with our 2 year olds in the Toddler Room. The role requires enthusiasm, commitment, motivation, care and patience to maintain a happy environment for all babies and children in our care. Good communication skills are needed to liaise with parents, carers and other professionals.

Qualifications andExperience
  • A Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Early Years
  • An excellent knowledge of the EYFS
  • A good safeguarding knowledge
  • Previous experience of working with 2 year olds
  • A real passion for delivering the very best childcare possible
Additional Details

The candidate will be expected to attend staff meetings and some overtime may be available.
