Job summary

East Renfrewshire Council is seeking a Child Development Officer for Netherlee Primary School. The role involves collaborating with the management team to deliver services that meet the needs of children aged 0–5 years and their families.

The post requires HNC Childhood Practice (SCQF 7) and SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) (SCQF 7) or an equivalent recognised by the SSSC; experience with additional support needs is desirable. Registration with the SSSC is required.

Qualifications

• HNC Childhood Practice at SCQF Level 7 is a required qualification.
• SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) at SCQF Level 7 or equivalent recognised by SSSC.
• Experience working with children with additional support needs would be desirable.
