Bright Horizons Brindley House Day Nursery in Beaconsfield is seeking an Early Years Chef to prepare and present meals for children, ensuring nutrition and portion control.
You will work 40 hours a week, 08:00-17:00, in a warm, supportive setting with a focus on the HEART values. A Food Safety Level 2+ and COSHH knowledge are required, with DBS clearance prior to appointment.

We’re looking for an Early Years Chef to join our Brindley House Day Nursery. The nursery is located in the centre of the beautiful market town of Beaconsfield, just a short 5 minute walk from Beaconsfield rail station and local shops. There is free staff parking on-site. The nursery has recently undergone a large renovation as is equipped with a good sized kitchen, sensory corners, imagination stations and a lovely outdoor garden for the children to enjoy.

As an Early Years Chef you will prepare, cook, and present age-appropriate food for all the children in the nursery, with minimum wastage. You will ensure all dietary requirements are catered for and clearly communicated to teams, and work in partnership with the team and parents to encourage a healthy and nutritious diet. You will also have an active role in leading cookery club sessions with the children, and support with other nursery activities, such as BBQs, Fetes, and staff meetings.
