Job summary

Willingham Primary School Honeypot Pre-School is seeking a caring Pre-School Assistant to join our team. The role is 28.75 hours per week, fixed term until 31 August 2027, term-time only, with safeguarding responsibilities and an online Safer Recruitment check for shortlisted candidates.

You will support young children aged 2–4, delivering planned activities and observations, and work within a friendly, small staff team. Benefits include staff development and wrap-around childcare opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Experience in an educational or nursery environment preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a small staff team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care focused on each child.

• Work as part of a small staff team to support learners.
• Support wrap-around childcare provision where needed.
