Job summary

Bright Horizons is seeking an Early Years Assistant to join our team and look after babies and children up to age 5. You will engage in interactive play, reading, and activities to support each child’s development toward key milestones.

You will work closely with colleagues and parents, using diverse communication techniques to build trust and partnerships. Safeguarding checks are part of the pre-employment process, with DBS clearance required before appointment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Look after babies and children up to age 5 as part of a team.
• Support interactive play, activities, reading, and development toward milestones.
