Job summary

Bright Horizons Chineham Park Day Nursery and Preschool is hiring an Early Years Assistant for lunch cover, Monday to Friday, 11am–3pm. You’ll join a team caring for babies and children up to five, supporting their development through play, reading and activities.

Previous childcare experience is welcome but not essential; training is provided. We offer a 40% childcare discount for the first child, enhanced parental leave, and a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential – Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.

Responsibilities

• As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5.
• Support development through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging curiosity.
