Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is ideal but not essential.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults.
• Understanding of child protection and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Look after babies and children up to age 5 as part of a nursery team.
• Engage in daily interactive play, reading and learning activities.
• Communicate with parents daily about their child’s activities.
• Create a caring environment where children feel safe and looked after.
• Support colleagues in guiding children toward developmental milestones.
• Promote health, safety and safeguarding for all children.
