Dalry Primary School & Nursery in Edinburgh is seeking an Early Years Assistant to join our enthusiastic team. This permanent post supports meeting the educational, care and welfare needs of children, helping them access the curriculum, including those with additional support needs.

The role requires basic education and Maths and English to SQA standard grade or equivalent, with registration to SSSC or equivalent and SVQ level 2 within 3 years. PVG checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Early Years Assistant desirable.
• Must be registered with SSSC or equivalent and gain SVQ Level 2 within 3 years.
• Maths and English to SQA standard grade level or equivalent, or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in meeting the educational, care and welfare needs of the children.
• Help ensure access for pupils with additional support needs to the curriculum.
