Job summary

Bright Horizons in the United Kingdom is seeking an Early Years Assistant to join a friendly team caring for babies and children up to age 5. You will support play, reading and activities, helping children reach key milestones.

This role offers 40-hour shifts over 4 or 5 days, a salary from £29,432 per annum, a 40% childcare discount for the first child, enhanced parental leave and a host of wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents.
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults.
• Enhanced DBS check and safeguarding procedures are required before appointment.

As an Early Years Assistant, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading, and encouraging their curious minds - supporting colleagues with each child's development towards their key milestones.

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential - Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
