Job summary

A leading training provider seeks an experienced Early Years Assessor to manage apprenticeship learners from a home-based setting. This role involves mentorship and coaching while visiting learners in their workplaces. Candidates must have significant Nursery management experience, a valid UK driving license, and be flexible to work remotely or in-person as needed.

The role is home based with learners mainly located in Aylesbury and the surrounding area.

Salary and Expenses
  • Full-time, permanent
  • Mon-Fri, no unsociable hours or weekends

  • £28k - £32k annual salary depending on experience and qualifications

Purpose of the role

You will be managing a caseload of Early Years apprenticeship learners (including Functional Skills), both remotely (via telephone, video, email) and visits to the learner in their place of work. Providing mentorship and coaching to the learner through to completion of their Early Years apprenticeship qualification.

Essentials
  • At least 3 years experience as a Deputy Manager or higher in a Nursery setting (for unqualified assessor applicants)
  • UK driving license and use of own transport
  • Home Based - covering Aylesbury and the surrounding area
  • A mixture of home working/remote and visiting learners in their place of work
