Job summary

Bright Horizons East Barnet Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to join our East Barnet nursery. You will care for babies and children up to age 5, while pursuing a formal qualification with assessor support. Training will be provided, with DBS checks prior to appointment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to completing your apprenticeship.
• GCSE English Level 4+ or Functional Skills Level 2 required.
• Experience with children beneficial but not essential.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to develop trust with colleagues and parents.
• Excellent communication with children and adults.

Responsibilities

• Look after babies and children up to age 5 as part of a team.
• Engage in interactive play, activities, reading, and learning opportunities.
• Attend required training and coursework with your assessor.
