Job summary

Kids Planet Durham is offering an Early Years Apprenticeship with training through the Kids Planet Training Academy to gain a qualification in Early Years. You’ll be enrolled on a programme designed to develop practical care and educational skills for young children.

As an apprentice you’ll learn how to support and protect children, work in a team, and communicate openly with families while progressing toward Level 2/3 qualifications over approximately 15–18 months.

Qualifications

• Meet minimum apprenticeship eligibility criteria, including UK residence for at least 3 years.
• Pass maths and English entry assessments.

Responsibilities

• Learn to support, care for, and inspire children from birth to age five.
• Support safeguarding and welfare of children in your care.
• Work as part of a team and build warm relationships with families.
