Job summary

Realise Training is offering an Apprenticeship for an Early Years Nursery Educator at Puddle Ducks Nursery in London. The role involves working with children, supporting planning and observations, and ensuring safeguarding.

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with full apprenticeship training and 20% off-the-job learning included. The successful candidate will work towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, delivered by Realise Training, with an hourly rate of £10.80 and

Early Years Apprentice - Puddleducks

Puddle Ducks Nursery in Putney, part of Bright Stars Nursery Group) is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice who is eager to work with children and achieve a Level 3 Early Years qualification.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Nursery Educator, you will:

Be part of a friendly, supportive, and experienced team

Work in a truly unique setting with access to 60 acres of woodland for forest school activities

Act as a key person for a group of children

Support planning, observations, and assessments

Ensure the safeguarding, welfare, and wellbeing of all children at all times

Follow the EYFS Statutory Framework

Working Week

40 hours per week Monday to Friday - shifts to be agreed at offer stage

Qualifications Required

GCSE Maths/English or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.

Training to be Provided

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:

• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise.
