Job summary

Childbase Partnership invites applications for an Early Years Apprentice at Cedar Park Day Nursery in Twyford. You will support young children across varied shifts (07:30–18:30) and start on £8.00/hr, rising to £10.41 after six months, with further increases after 12 months for those aged 21+.

This apprenticeship blends hands-on nursery practice with academy-based learning, targeting Level 2/3 Early Years qualifications, English/Maths Functional Skills, and Paediatric First Aid.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK and National Insurance number required.
• Resident in the UK for the last three years.
• Access to a computer for online assessment and coursework submission.
• Commutable distance to the nursery.

Responsibilities

• Attend regular group training sessions at EduBase academy in Newport Pagnell.
• Engage in Level 2/3 Early Years qualification and Functional Skills.
• Undertake paediatric first aid training.
• Care for babies and young children following the EYFS curriculum and learning through play.
