Acorn Early Years is inviting applications for an Early Years Apprentice at Acorn Deanshanger. This full-time role (36 hours per week) offers hands-on experience while working towards a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification in a nurturing environment.

You will join a not-for-profit childcare provider with a strong focus on nature-based learning, safeguarding, and outdoor play, supported by a mentor throughout your apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship with Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
• Hands-on experience in a nursery environment.
• Mentored learning with safeguarding in mind.

Responsibilities

• Support children through play-based learning and activities.
• Be a positive role model for behaviour and engagement.
• Learn to deliver a holistic early years curriculum.
• Support children's progress and development.
• Observe children and plan in the moment.
• Develop communication with children and adults.
• Work with a mentor to achieve apprenticeship goals.
