Job summary

Partou is offering an apprenticeship pathway for an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner in Burnley, working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard. You will observe experienced practitioners, learn to plan activities, and contribute to safeguarding and child wellbeing.

The programme runs for 12 months with on-the-job training, 20% off-the-job learning, and dedicated provider Realise Training delivering the programme.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English grade 3 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.
• Some experience working with babies or children under the age of five - desirable

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain children’s records and observations.
• Understand safeguarding policies and contribute to health, safety, cleanliness and wellbeing of children.
• Help plan and deliver activities in line with the EYFS.
