Job summary

Childbase Partnership is offering an Early Years Apprentice position at Highbury Lodge Day Nursery, Hitchin. The role runs 37.5 hours per week across 52 weeks, with varied shifts from 07:30 to 18:30, and a December/January start window.

You will work towards Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualifications, supported by our academy and trainers, plus English/Maths Functional Skills and paediatric first aid.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK and National Insurance Number.
• Be resident in the UK for at least the last three years.
• Be able to travel to Newport Pagnell training academy for sessions.
• Eligible under apprenticeship rules (16+).

Responsibilities

• Attend regular group training sessions at the academy in Newport Pagnell.
• Engage in Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualifications.
• Complete online assessments during screening and throughout apprenticeship.
• Learn on the job at the nursery with mentors and trainers.
