Job summary

Kids Planet Day Nurseries Ltd. invites applications for an Early Years Apprentice at Blackpool. The programme delivers hands-on experience while training through the Kids Planet Training Academy to gain an Early Years qualification.

You will learn to support and care for children from birth to five, with safeguarding at the core, and you’ll work within a friendly central support team focused on helping you thrive in your early years career.

Qualifications

• Meet minimum apprenticeship eligibility criteria, including UK residency for 3+ years.
• Pass maths and English entry assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support, care for, and inspire children during their earliest years (birth to age five).
• Ensure safeguarding of children in your care.
• Work as part of a successful team.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with families through clear communication.
• Liaise with parents on matters relating to the child.

We’re now looking for an Early Years Apprentice to join our team, someone who’s ready to get stuck in, spark imaginations, and help children thrive. As an Early Years Apprentice, you will be enrolled on to a training programme through the Kids Planet Training Academy to gain a qualification in Early Years.

What an Early Years Apprentice needs:

• To meet minimum apprenticeship eligibility criteria, including having lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.
• To pass maths and English entry assessments.

As a guide, Level 2 apprenticeships take approximately 15 months to complete, and Level 3 apprenticeships take approximately 18 months to complete.
