Job summary

Kids Planet Sandbach Montessori is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to join our team. You’ll be enrolled on to the Kids Planet Training Academy to gain a qualification in Early Years and kickstart a rewarding career in childcare.

You'll learn on the job, complete accredited training, and progress through Level 2/3 apprenticeships while supporting children aged birth to five in a nurturing, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Eligible for UK apprenticeship living in the UK for at least 3 years.
• Must pass maths and English entry assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support, care for, and inspire children from birth to age five.
• Learn safeguarding best practices.
• Work within a team to create a nurturing environment.
• Build relationships with families through open communication.

We're now looking for an Early Years Apprentice to join our team, someone who's ready to get stuck in, spark imaginations, and help children thrive. As an Early Years Apprentice, you will be enrolled on to a training programme through the Kids Planet Training Academy to gain a qualification in Early Years.

What an Early Years Apprentice needs:

• To meet minimum apprenticeship eligibility criteria, including having lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years.
• To pass maths and English entry assessments.

As a guide, Level 2 apprenticeships take approximately 15 months to complete, and Level 3 apprenticeships take approximately 18 months to complete.

Kids Planet is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children and young people. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role. We expect all staff and volunteers to uphold this commitment, and safeguarding training is a fundamental part of every role. All colleagues are required to complete regular training to ensure they understand and fulfil their responsibilities. A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate is mandatory for all positions, and this role will be subject to enhanced checks as part of our safeguarding duties.
