Job summary

The Growth Company is recruiting an early years apprentice for a new nursery in Newton Heath, Manchester. You will be supported to achieve a recognised Level 2 Qualification in Childcare, with the opportunity to progress to Level 3 on completion.

You will care for children, prepare environments for learning, plan activities, and follow safeguarding and health & safety practices. The role offers full training and a long-term career path with the potential for permanent employment.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths at A*-C/9-4.
• Experience caring for children preferred.
• Support for Level 2 apprenticeship progression.

About This Opportunity

Over The Rainbow Day Care offers a fantastic opportunity for an early years apprentice to join their new nursery in Newton Heath, Manchester. They are looking for a caring, motivated and passionate person who is eager to offer high quality childcare.

A Normal Day Would Include

• Caring for children
• Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children's needs
• Planning and supporting children's play, learning and development
• Adhering to all safeguarding, health and safety practices
• Preparing snacks and helping with feeding and cleaning
• Working as part of a team
• Developing and maintaining good relationships with parents, carers, families and staff members
• Developing the key person role in supporting a group of children
• Promoting equal opportunities for all and ensuring all children, families and staff are respected and valued

Progression And Qualifications

The successful applicants will be supported through a recognised Level 2 Qualification in Childcare, with the opportunity to move on to the level 3 once complete. We strive to ensure that our staff receive ongoing training and annual appraisals. We offer a career path with long term growth and stability.

Future Prospects

This vacancy is for a permanent position (for at least the duration of the Apprenticeship) with the possibility of continuous full time employment at Over The Rainbow Day Care upon the successful completion of the apprenticeship programme.
