St Leonard’s First School and Nursery, Dunston, is looking for someone to join our hard‑working, supportive and cohesive team. We wish to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in our school. We are looking to appoint an inspirational and highly effective Teaching Assistant who is committed to supporting provision to be of the highest standard.
The working pattern is ideally 8:30 – 2:30pm, although this can be discussed with the successful candidate, Monday to Friday, term time plus inset days.
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child with complex needs. The pupil requires consistent support to access play, learning, and social opportunities in our Early Years setting. Early Years qualifications are essential for this role and a full job description is enclosed.
We have strong links with St Leonard’s Church and candidates will be expected to support the Christian Distinctiveness of our school.
